Christmas Night Out - December 2023

The nights are drawing in .. and once again we are making plans for our annual "WADARC Christmas Night Out". 

The Hinderton Arms has again been chosen, being an ideal central location on Wirral and providing us with our own function room (FOC)  allowing us plenty of space to be able to walk around and chat with everyone present both prior and during the evening. There is also plenty of off road free parking.

As always, club members (past and present) and families plus friends are welcome to come along and join us .. plus any recently joined new members.

Once again we have included the two tier option to help those who would perhaps, prefer not to have either a Starter or Pudding so:-

Cost will be £29 pp for 3 courses or £25 pp for just 2 courses.
(Plus any supplementary amounts purchased for your account during the evening)

Price for the 2 course meal of £25 is the same as last year, while the 3 course meal has only increased by £2 which I would suggest, is pretty good when considering the current financial situation into the mix with huge increases in fuel costs (heating, lighting & cooking) I believe they are very competitive with other Wirral restaurants and certainly will be by the time December comes.

STARTERS
Winter Warming Vegetable & Barley Soup (ve)

with spiced chickpeas and a sourdough shard

Black Tiger Prawns (*) (n)
shell-on prawns sautéed in parsley & sea salt butter in a Romesco sauce served with toasted sourdough
Chicken & Smoked Ham Terrine
with crispy red onion, whipped butter, festive spiced pear & fig chutney and toasted sourdough
Croxton Manor Twice-Baked Soufflé (v)
with fresh fig, spiced pear & fig chutney mixed seeds, pomegranate and balsamic dressing

MAINS
Hand-Carved Roast Turkey
with duck fat & rosemary roasties,Yorkshire pudding, pig-in-blanket, sausage meat stuffing and festive trimmings
