The Rennie Parr Trophy

This Trophy is in memory of Rennie Parr G0CDI who went silent key very early in his life.
He was an enthusiastic club member who loved teaching radio and basic electronics to
youngsters in the local Air Training Corp. He also helped them in re-building and
re-furbishing their radio station.

The Trophy is presented each year to the Best Construction project by a newcomer
to encourage club members to have a go at building their first practical project.

It was first presented in 1989.
